Every so often I start to feel like my life is one revolving door of crazy mishaps. Right now.. is one of those times.
The snow starts to melt and the weather is warm, and then April Fools day comes along...and a snow storm. I may have slid into a parked car or it slid into me.. but my car is total trash now.. well it has a small dent-but Im done with it. Damaged Goods.
Following this storm-you know because it was early April in Maine, the 2 feet of snow we got on April 1st, melted ALL on April 2nd. And our sump pump decided to die. So I came home from work with both kids-starving-you know cause they dont eat all day at school and daycare (yeah right)-and there was at least 6 inches of water covering the floor of the entire basement. Not a ton of damage-removed the carpeting in the laundry room, dried the rug in the other finished portion and then paid for a new sump pump. About 2 days later the dryer timer went-due to water, and then about 2 wks later the washer motor casing gave out. LOVE IT!!
On a lighter note.. it was just Easter weekend. AJ was completely terrified at the idea of the EB coming while we are all asleep. He was concerned all night and kept asking about it. Then before bed, he decided he didnt want anything from the EB, so he hid his basket behind the couch. B-man now very concerned that the EB may not stop JUST for him, decided he would put out some carrots to entice him. :) Needless to say the EB came and filled BOTH baskets, but left AJs behind the couch in its original hiding spot.
Last night, the action that actually prompted me to come back on here, B-man had a sleep walking episode. I was in AJs room watching tv at around 10:30 and I heard B-man talking, I realized he was sleeping still so just sat up and listened. He then got up, and I was expecting him to come in with me since the TV was on, but he didnt, he proceeded down the hall to our room where K and AJ were fast asleep. I assumed he was still sleeping a bit since he went to the dark room vs the tv lit one. Just as I was laying back into bed I hear K literally FREAKING OUT. He is screaming-what? are you really? did you..? B-man?! So I run into the room afraid of what has taken place....only to find B-man standing at the end of our bed with his pants around his ankles and staring off totally confused. K is now on his hands and knees sniffing the wet floor. :) Yep.. B-man came in and peed at the end of our bed into a basket full of clean laundry. He was so out of it, I just walked him to his room and we went back to sleep. He has absolutely no recolection of this at all. Im not really sure what was more funny for me-the actual action of him peeing or Ks reaction to the whole thing. I laughed to myself about this for at least an hour following. :)
